NYAS are an independent advocacy service for looked after children, care leavers, children on a Child in Need Plan and disabled young people or any young person who receives a service from social care.

We are here to support young people have their wishes and feelings heard during their dealings with social care. We can provide support and information about young people’s rights. This could mean supporting them at a meeting or help them to make a complaint. We are a child led organisation. We provide an Independent Visiting Service as well as a Welfare Return Interviews Service.
