More about this Activity / Service

Service Description:
SIAS (Solihull Integrated Addiction Services) is a partnership between five organisations that work together to deliver drug, alcohol and gambling support services in the Borough of Solihull: Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Welcome, Aquarius, Changes UK and Urban Heard.

Help starts here for those with drug, alcohol and gambling problems in the Solihull area. Support is offered to adults and young people wanting to reduce their use of substances and/or become abstinent. This includes one to one sessions, group sessions and a wide range of meaningful activities. The exact pathway to recovery is determined jointly by each individual and their keyworker.

SIAS also offers: a Needle Exchange service and harm reduction advice; support for children affected by their parents’ substance misuse; support for family members or significant others affected by someone else’s substance misuse; advice, information and signposting to other relevant services; drug & alcohol awareness sessions for schools and other organisations as well as training for professionals.
