Welcome to one of the secret treasures of Birmingham! We hope you enjoy your visits here, whether it’s a quiet morning stroll before it gets too hot, or a lazy afternoon with a picnic on the lawn.

The Gardens are a 10 acre space, with lots of smaller areas within it to explore, a maze to get lost in, ponds to watch the dragonflies, a 'mud kitchen' to play in and there is usually a free trail to follow.

The Gardens are more than 350 years old and we are trying to keep them (for another 350 years) going by sharing them with people. As well as being good to look at, we try to care for and look after the wildlife and nature in the Gardens. It's a good place for young nature explorers.

HAF Family Pass Easter 2024:
Your HAF Family Pass is for up to two adults (one person must be the named owner of the pass, and the person with the HAF code) and up to 3 children. (Babies and up to 4 year olds are free and don’t count in the limit).

Your Pass means you can visit the Gardens any time we are open. Every day during school holidays and tehn Wednesday - Sunday, 10.30 am to 4.30pm. Please check before you come- some days we might be closed for special events or ticketed events

Your pass does NOT cover any extra or ticketed events. Please apply for your pass online (paper version available, but slower) before you visit it you can.

On your first visit to the Gardens you will get your Pass Card. Please keep it safe you will need to show it every time you come to the Gardens.

Your Pass is valid from Saturday 23rd March until Sunday 28th April 2024 but MUST be purchased BEFORE 7th April 2024.
